About Financial Confidence

Plain-English financial education, built to help you make confident decisions about credit, credit cards, budgeting, and buying your first home.

Why we built this

Most financial advice is either too basic to be useful or buried in jargon that assumes you already know the basics. Financial Confidence exists to close that gap — with 105 lessons that explain exactly how credit, credit cards, budgeting, and homebuying actually work, in language anyone can follow.

How it's organized

The content is organized into 6 self-paced schools. Start with Foundations if you're new to personal finance, or jump straight into the school that matches what you're working on right now — whether that's choosing your first credit card, reading your credit report, building a budget, or getting ready to buy a home.

Every lesson follows the same format

Each lesson opens with what you'll learn and why it matters, walks through the concept with real examples, debunks the myths that trip people up, answers the questions people ask most, and closes with one specific action you can take today.

Financial Confidence provides general financial education for informational purposes only. It is not financial, legal, or tax advice, and it isn't a substitute for guidance from a licensed professional who knows your full financial picture.
