Before You Begin
Federal student loan repayment rules changed substantially effective July 1, 2026 (P.L. 119-21). SAVE, PAYE, and ICR are discontinued for new enrollment. RAP and the Tiered Standard plan are new; legacy IBR remains for loans disbursed before that date.
This tool produces an educational estimate, not a servicer-accurate payment or a guarantee of eligibility. We never guess your exact loan subtype from limited information — when we can't be sure, we say so and tell you what to confirm.
Payment math combines your loans into one blended estimate per plan rather than a true loan-by-loan amortization schedule. See the Assumptions & Rules Used section in your results for exactly what's simplified.
